One of the best places to visit in the beautiful Oregon wine country is the beautiful town of Mornington Peninsula in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. The winery tours in and around the town are a great way to see some of the wineries in the area and also enjoy all that the region has to offer. There are many great routes to take for the tour, but one of the most popular is to take a train up the Willamette River to reach the winery.
Travel up the pass in the train, stop at the Marmon Point Lodge (on the Washington side) and then take a ride over to the winery. You can bring your picnic to add to the cultural experience as you explore this beautiful area. There is so much to see and do in and around Mornington Peninsula, it’s a fun and easy day trip for travelers. The day can end with a tour of the winery followed by a night at the lodge if you want to spend the night. If you’d rather have more of a local story about the area, the town will organize a town meeting to tell you about everything you’re missing.
After the train ride, head back down to the peninsula in your car or take a bus into the gorgeous Gorge area. Once you get to Mornington, you’ll find an amazing selection of attractions for everyone to enjoy. The winery tours begin near the Marmon Point Lodge so you can enjoy the beautiful views and beautiful countryside while you’re there. You can also take a train back out to the Gorge and enjoy the beautiful view from there. Enjoy the trip to Mornington Peninsula as much as possible.
